Structures by Zico O'Neill
New Zealand photographer Zico O'Neill captures the calm serenity surrounding vast buidlings around the world in his photo series, Structures.
His work is characterised by the soft colour palette and an eye for capturing moments of contrast between the natural and built environments. Huge metal structures and concrete pillars sit against peaceful backdrops including the mountains of Aqaba, Jordan and The Dead Sea in Israel. These images evoke a certain mood that almost seems surreal, his photography style wandering into more graphic and art directed realms.
